- You can fit a maximum of 8 dresses during your fitting consultation. Fitting additional dresses cost R25 per dress.
- No refunds will be given for missed appointments. You can manage and reschedule your booking online.

Since 2009, we've been do things differently at The Wedding Boutique to ensure everything runs smoothly from first fitting to dress collection.

We are known for our unique wedding dress collection, which is the largest in Africa, showcasing leading international designer brands.
You won't find most of the dresses we stock anywhere else in South Africa.
Our studio in Sandton is an elegant space where we do everything we can to make you feel welcome and unrushed.

What sizes do you stock?
Please note we carry a variety of sizes between size UK8 - UK14.
We do not have every dress in every size but we try our very best to offer a great variety of dresses in the above sizes!
We stock a very small selection of plus size dresses UK16 - UK20.
If you are a size 16 or above, please let us know if you would like us to pre-select dresses in your size before your appointment.
What is your price range to buy or hire a dress?
Hiring starts from R16 000 to R28 000 and buying starts from R28 000 to R60 000.
We have a sample sales rail running all year, ready for ladies on a budget or with limited time. Constantly updated and always new with amazing finds.
Do I have to book to try on dresses?
Yes. You are welcome to come and browse anytime but if you would like to try on dresses, or talk in depth about your wedding dress, an appointment is necessary.
How does a fitting work?
We offer three different packages:
Silver package (R200) Come for 60 minutes and try on 6 dresses with your nearest and dearest!
Gold Package (R400): Come for 90 minutes and try on 6 dresses with your absolute fave's and elevate your experience with a bottle of award winning bubbly!
Platinum Package (R600): Come for 90 minutes and try on 6 dresses with your crew, sip on award winning bubbly and indulge with a selection if delicious treats!
Can I bring my mom, bridesmaids, or best friend to the fitting?
Definitely! But, for your Own benefit, we ask that you bring a maximum of 6 people with you.
Can I rent a dress?
Yes, we do have a selection of dresses available for hire.
How long in advance should I come if I am going to rent my dress?
We recommend about 8 to 10 months before your big day.
What brands do you stock?
Alena Leena Bridal*, Mia Lavi*, Jenny Yoo*, Blue by Enzoani, and Love by Enzoani. (*Only available at The Wedding Boutique.)
Do you offer alteration services?
We have an alterations department at our Johannesburg and Cape Town branch.
Just about every wedding dress needs some sort of alteration. This is a lengthy, difficult process which generally requires between 3 to 6 fittings.
Please allow between 4 to 6 weeks for this process.
How does payment work?
If you are having a dress custom made overseas a 50% deposit is required upfront and the balance when the dress arrives.
If the dress is bought off the rail (sample or sale dress) 100% payment is required.
When hiring a dress a refundable deposit of R5000 is required when the dress is booked, and then the balance is due 60 days prior to the wedding.
How long in advance must I come to discuss my dress?
We recommend about 8 to 10 months before your wedding.
How long does it take to make a dress?
It takes 5 to 6 months once your dress has been ordered from our international suppliers.
Do you make or rent out bridesmaid's dresses?
Unfortunately not.
